Botswana was the next leg of our African adventure. But before leaving Zimbabwe, we couldn’t help but witness one of the world’s wonders: Victoria Falls. From there we boarded a plane and headed to the next camp.
Botswana was filled with every imaginable species. The terrain was rough and wet, as it was the rainy season. We hopped onto the jeeps while our guides pointed out all the wondrous sights. The animals – not unlike humans – protecting their young and providing for their own survival.
That night, underneath a star-filled sky… I found myself connected to nature in a way that I had never felt before.
