In celebration of our 50th anniversary, my wife – Kathy – and I decided to do something special. While we’ve been fortunate enough to have visited different parts of the world, the one place we always wanted to experience was Africa. So we decided to gather up our entire family for a safari.
We arrived in Johannesburg, South Africa and took a small plane to visit our first camp in Zimbabwe. It was there that Kathy met her favorite creatures; the elephants. This camp serves as an orphanage for those separated from their herds.
