If you’ve followed me in my musical career you’ll know that I’ve been a fan of Burt Bacharach’s music. I’ve invested myself in his melodic structures and arrangements. So much so that I was compelled to purchase his Steinway piano which originally resided in his father’s New York apartment. This is where Burt composed much of his early music.
In this video you’ll find some of my favorite musicians which include Chuck Shermetaro and Kenny Watson as they perform a sampling of the Bacharach/David catalog.
I’ve known Chuck for close to half a century. Not only have we performed in bands together but Chuck had the fortune to back up personalities such as Joan Rivers, Regis Philbin, and Don Rickles. Kenny Watson is a fabulous singer/songwriter as he appears here. Kenny has appeared on stages across the country as well as overseas.
