With Christmas right around the corner, we look back at a song I wrote some 20 years ago, titled “Bless This Christmas“. I co-wrote it with Danny Beckerman, an Australian composer who resided at Yessian Music for a couple of years.
Our vocalist, “D Train” Williams flew in from New York City to sing lead. Then we scurried off to Chicago to record a children’s choir.
Beckerman passed away in 2006. He was a very witty guy with a dry sense of humor, and a brilliant flair for composition. I’m still proud of our work together, and miss him dearly.
