I’m excited to finally reveal something that has been in the works for a while now.

This past summer I was asked to collaborate with the TED organization, of TED Talk fame. Their subsidiary TEDEd produces fantastic short films centered primarily around educational subjects.

Many of you who follow me know that I started my career as a schoolteacher, and when I decided to do music for a living I was fortunate to get work writing music for television shows like Sesame Street, The Electric Company, and The Hot Fudge Show. You could say I have an appreciation for educational programming.

So naturally when I was asked to supply music for a TEDEd short about the Armenian Genocide, there was no way I could say “no.” We went right to work, editing An Armenian Trilogy to fit the 7-minute film and narration.

It’s an honor to be asked to collaborate with an organization of this magnitude and I thank everybody on the project for the opportunity to continue educating people through music.
