I’ve always loved musicals, but when I had an opportunity to record two of my favorite vocalists in Maurissa Rose and Kenny Watson I was gushing at the fact that I was in the middle of a production with both of them.
Nothing could have been better for me at that moment in time. To be a part of a recording with talent at this level is truly humbling. I felt like I was Radio City Music Hall watching a show just for me.
Stephen Sondheim – an incredible lyricist – penned the words to this magnificent song, “Not While I’m Around” which was part of his critically acclaimed “Sweeney Todd”.
