50 Years of Friendship, Great Music, and a Burt Bacharach Steinway

Here’s a look back at a fine performance by some of my favorite musicians in Chuck Shermetaro and Kenny Watson as they sample the Burt Bacharach and Hal David catalog.

I’ve known Chuck for close to half a century. Not only have we performed in bands together but Chuck had the fortune to back up personalities such as Joan Rivers, Regis Philbin, and Don Rickles. Kenny Watson is a fabulous singer/songwriter whom I often feature on here. Kenny has appeared on stages across the country as well as overseas.

If you’ve followed me in my musical career you’ll know that I’ve been a fan of Burt Bacharach’s music…so much so that I was compelled to purchase his Steinway piano which originally resided in his father’s New York apartment.
